The terms for using the EFD Staff app and the staff handbook.
These terms cover the EFD Staff Discord application and the staff handbook it signs people in to, both run by the Escape From DayZ staff team. How your data is handled is in the privacy policy.
Who can use it#
The app and the handbook are for members of the Escape From DayZ staff team only. Access needs a staff role in the staff Discord, and it ends when that role is removed. Trying to get in without one, or helping someone else to, is not allowed.
How it may be used#
- Only for staff work on Escape From DayZ, and under the staff rules.
- What is in the handbook and the tracker stays with the staff team, like everything in the staff channels. Don't share pages, records or screenshots with players or anyone outside the team.
- Records are written honestly and with the evidence behind them. A record added, changed or voided to help or harm someone is abuse of staff powers, and is handled as the staff rules set out.
- Don't try to break, overload or get round the site, the sign-in, or the slash commands.
No guarantees#
The app and the handbook are provided as they are, by volunteers, to help run a game server. They may change, be unavailable, or be withdrawn at any time. Decisions are made by staff, not by the tools, and the ban record stays where the strike system says it is.
Not affiliated#
Escape From DayZ is a fan-made community server. The app is not made or endorsed by Discord, Battlestate Games or Bohemia Interactive.
Changes and contact#
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Questions go in a ticket in the Escape From DayZ Discord.
