The money#

There are four currencies: roubles, dollars, euros and GP coins.

  • Roubles are what nearly everything is priced in.
  • Dollars are Peacekeeper's currency, as in Tarkov. If you are short of dollars at his counter, your roubles make up the difference automatically.
  • Euros turn up as loot, and sellers on the flea market can ask for them.
  • GP coins are Ref's currency, earned only from his dailies and weekly contracts. They can't be bought.

A dollar is worth 165 ₽, a euro 188 ₽ and a GP coin 7,500 ₽. Currency exchange is a service at Skier and Peacekeeper.

Where your money lives#

In your stash. The ATMs have retired. Your first stash starts with 500,000 ₽, the safezone traders pay into it and charge from it, and how much it can hold grows as you upgrade it. Out at Fence, Mechanic and the Lightkeeper you pay with the notes you carry. Every price is charged exactly, with change given. The stash.

What loyalty gates#

Each item sits on one of a trader's four loyalty tabs, and you can buy from a tab once your loyalty level with that trader reaches it. Your loyalty rises with your player level and your standing from his tasks. The gate is on buying: every trader buys from you from day one. Levels & Loyalty.

Selling#

Each trader buys at his own share of an item's value. Out on the map Fence and the Lightkeeper pay best, and in the safezone Therapist does; Traders lists them all. On top of that, condition scales what you get:

Condition You get
Pristine the full rate
Worn three quarters of it
Damaged half
Badly damaged a quarter
Ruined nothing

Prices are Tarkov's own trader prices, armour and ammunition included, and a round is priced by the round.
