The Workbench
The crafting bench: every recipe from the live configuration, how long each takes, what it needs, and why crafts keep running while you're offline.
The workbench is a deployable crafting bench with 104 recipes built from Tarkov's hideout crafts. Strip magnets and circuit boards out of electronics, cut plexiglass, salvage fasteners, load ammunition, build the charges that open bases — break down what you find into what you need.
How it works#
- The bench is a kit from Jaeger — 500,000 ₽ — placed like any other deployable. One bench per player. Its recipes are grouped into five stations named after Tarkov's hideout, and each station upgrades on its own, up to level 3. Higher levels unlock the recipes that matter.
- Crafts keep running while you're logged off and survive server restarts. Start a long one, go to bed, collect it tomorrow. A finished craft waits at the bench for whoever is standing there, so in a raided base it is loot. Raiding.
- Tools are held, never consumed. A recipe that needs a hammer keeps it for the duration and gives it back.
- Gunpowder is the common cost of anything that goes bang.

Nothing that opens a base is sold at a trader; every charge on the server was built at one of these. Two improvised charges and a remote detonator make one heavy C4. Raiding has what each one does to a wall.
The repair and ammo benches#
Jaeger also sells two smaller benches for your base:
- Repair bench (500,000 ₽): repairs everything you are wearing, or your weapon and everything on it, in one go. The price is shown on the action before you pay, and it is capped.
- Ammo bench (200,000 ₽, from loyalty level IV): fills every magazine you carry at once, and every round is kept: none are lost to a magazine that was already full.
