What do I keep when I die? Whatever is in your secure container, plus everything that isn't gear: reputation, tasks, stash, base, skills. Death, logout and combat logging.

Where do I get a secure container? Your first task hands you an Alpha when you reach the safezone. The bigger ones are task rewards. Secure containers.

Why won't my magazine go in my container? Magazines are refused on purpose, along with explosives, grenades and other containers. Secure containers.

How do I leave the safezone? The Land Cruiser and the customs gate at the entrance open the deploy menu. Deploy & extract.

Where are the extracts? Marked on your map, names hidden. Smoke and a green light on the ground. Extracts.

How long does extracting take? 7 s standing in the zone. Damage doesn't cancel it. Extracts.

Why is my body still there after I logged out? Because it always is — 30 s normally, 5 min after combat, 20 min in a raid. Death, logout and combat logging.

Why am I losing food and water in the safezone? You've been in it more than 30 min. Step out and it recovers. The safezone.

I dropped something in the safezone and it's gone. The hub deletes dropped items after 2 min, and there is no compensation for it. The safezone.

How big can my group be? 3, online and offline, no rotations. Groups.

How do I get reputation? Tasks, mostly. Kills and about 130 everyday actions add to it. It never drops on death. Reputation.

Why can't I buy this item? Its rarity needs a higher reputation. Selling is never gated. Market and currency.

What are GP coins? Ref's currency — earned from his tasks, dailies, weeklies and loot, never bought. Market and currency.

When do dailies reset? At the 6:00 restart, Central time. Weeklies on Monday. Dailies and weeklies.

When does the server restart? Every three hours on the hour, Central time. Restarts.

Where is Mechanic? At his outpost in the north-east — his board is there too. Fence is at Black Lake, the Lightkeeper at the lighthouse on the east coast. Traders.

How do I get into the Lab? Buy the access card from Therapist and deploy into it; the card is used up. The Lab.

How do I claim a base? Place a territory generator (250,000 ₽ from Jaeger) and keep it fuelled. Territory and upkeep.

Why did my base start decaying? The generator ran out of fuel, or there isn't one. Territory and upkeep.

How do I make C4? At the workbench, from gunpowder and a detonator. Nothing that opens a base is sold. The workbench.

Can I shoot my way into a base? No. Bullets do nothing to base parts. Raiding.

Does my tent in the woods last? No. Storage outside a fuelled territory decays. Storage and decay.
